The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) (Formerly known as RCIA, Rite of Chrisitan Initian of Adults) is for anyone interested in becoming Catholic. Included in this process are those who are unbaptized and those baptized in another Christian church. Adult Catholics who have been baptized and need to complete their Sacraments of Initiation may also participate in this process.
The catechetical sessions are offered on Sunday mornings at 11:00am in St. Anne's room at the Parish Center.
Each individual's journey of faith is unique. Therefore there is no preset completion date for each individual. For those not yet baptized, they will be welcomed into the Church at the Easter Vigil where they will receive all three Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.
Those baptized in another Christian denomination can be received into full communion with the Catholic Church at any time of the year with the approval of the OCIA director and pastor. For more information please email Karen Oldham.
