Come meet the catechists and families involved in our Faith Formation Programs

The Church has always taught that parents are the first and foremost teachers of the faith to their children.  It is in the family that we have our first experience of God's love and mercy.  The Shrine of St. Anne's has always strongly encouraged parent participation in all faith formation programs and this year will be no different.  

We have a TWICE-A-MONTH FAMILY FAITH FORMATION PROGRAM on Sunday mornings.  Parents and children will meet in St. Anne's School Cafeteria from 9:00am to 10:30am.  Sessions are open to all children from PreK (age 4) through High School.  Sessions will include time for family faith activities such as prayer, games, songs, and crafts, as well as time for individual grade level classroom sessions and parent sessions.  Each family will take home extra activities to do during the month.   Sessions will begin in September.  Please check the attached calendar for program dates.

The catechetical material provided is the Pflaum Gospel Weekly which is based on the Sunday scripture readings.  Parents and children are able to make connections with the teachings and doctrines of the Church in their daily living of these truths.  This will also help families be better prepared to listen and actively participate prayerfully at Sunday Mass.
